ADAS Systems.... Going to Take Some Getting Used To!

Happy Technical Tuesday Folks! Just a quick note to announce the official naming of Sara's new 2019 CR-V.  She picked it up last month & so far, is loving every inch of it.  He has been dubbed: Troopah, 19 of 4.  You'll have to ask her what that means next time you're in, or, you are welcome to shoot her an email, if you're curious.   Sara's still getting used to all the bells and whistles, but so far loves all the cool updated features - even the ones she's not quite sure she is ready to use regularly.  Like how, if you allow it, the combination of Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Departure Mitigation, will get you pretty close to riding in a 'self driving car'.  Her exact words when describing it to Greg were "This is so freaking weird dude, I can't even!".  ADAS or "Advanced Driver-Assist Systems" are becoming more ... read more

“Are We There Yet?” Season is Almost Here!

It’s about that time again. You know, that part of the year where we pack ourselves, and all the essentials (some non, too), into our trusty car/van/truck/wagon and hit the road for parts unknown (or known, whichever). Within the MWI family there are a few avid road trippers, a few newbies, and since we’ve all got some sort of trip on the horizon, we thought we’d share a couple great ‘Road Trip Tips’ lists we found. We’ve also got a few tips directly from our in-house ‘road-trippers’. First from your technicians… Chris advises a full tank of gas to start your journey. Armando says to make sure your car is safe and ready with a ‘pre-trip’ inspection, and Todd wants everyone to make sure the snacks are fully stocked and plentiful.
