I have been a customer of Motor Works since 1986. They have always been fair, reliable, consistent in their performance, and exceedingly friendly to everyone who visits them. While some may find them a bit pricey, I have not -- indeed, I've gotten the benefit of many of their informal discounts. As long as I own a Honda and live in the Washington, DC region, there will only be one place for my car's upkeep -- Motor Works.

Dear Dr.McG, Thank you very much for the high praise. Clients like you make this kind of work a pleasure. When cloning is perfected, we should talk? ;>) I appreciate your mention that you value our level of service. Even if other auto shops might advertise cheaper, doing the proper preventive maintenance is clearly less expensive over the long haul. You're the proof of it's 'REAL' value! I'll be sure to share your words with the crew, as well. Please don't hesitate to reach out if there is anything that you need! Cheers, Greg

My experience with Motor works is ALWAYS ABOVE 5-Star. I have been with them since they opened their doors and have never been disappointed. I brought my new CRV in for its first oil change and I mentioned that there was a recall that needed to be taken care of. Motor Works does not do recall work, but they were right there for me anyway. They took my CRV to Herson's Honda themselves and picked it up when it was finished, thus saving me the time and inconvenience of having to dal with this. Surprise – I was charged nothing for the oil change and for taking it to the dealer for me as this was the first time service for my new Honda. Special people!! Not just for the excellent work, but for their personal interest in each of their customers.

I have been taking my 2003 V6 Accord to Motor Works for about 5 years; their service is for first rate.It just turned 150,000 miles and runs like new. They only do the service that Honda recommends, no up selling. Want your car to last 200,000 miles? Call Geg at Motor Works today!

Motor Works was recommended to me by my father-in-law quite vehemently. When my wife and I bought her parents' '02 Accord, it came attendant with a folder filled with Motor Works maintenance records. When my clutch refused intermittently to disengage, I brought it to them. I was assisted by Paul, who was courteous, professional, and genuinely competent in all ways. We've recently moved into an apartment, and my lease prohibits vehicle maintenance in the parking lot, and I've a bit of experience fixing my own Hondas, having owned a few prior to this, and I found their diagnosis to be accurate and honest. I was given a few options for ways we might proceed with the repair, from the bare minimum to restore its functionality, or to replace an additional part to ensure long-term reliability. They were honest, and they had my estimate in writing by e-mail about twelve hours after I'd dropped it off. They use OEM parts. They don't use cheap aftermarket replacement parts of inferior quality. OEM parts cost more, but so does a Honda or Toyota vis a vis a domestic auto. The repair was finished quickly, and the final bill ended up being about $20 less than their estimate, always a pleasant surprise. The office staff is knowledgeable, affable, and will go out of their way to accommodate your maintenance and emergency work. They drove me to the car rental agency. I can't imagine bringing this vehicle anywhere else for service. I'm bummed they can't do the recall repair for the airbag issue, else I wouldn't be using Herson's for it. The office and the shop are clean. This means quite a bit to me. It's really easy to see grease all over everything in your mechanic's office and dismiss it as parcel to the business, you'd almost expect a dirty shop. After all, this is dirty work at times. It takes a profound effort and attention to detail to maintain a presence as orderly as Motor Works does, especially considering the business they're in. Highly recommended.

I have been a client of Motor Works for over 20 years. They are the reason I have owned three Hondas--I would never trust another shop with my car. Over the years, I have never had a problem with my car that they couldn't fix and fix it right the first time. All the people are extremely knowledgeable and extremely friendly. If you want to keep your car running well and running for 200,000 plus miles, they will make that happen.

Ms. Sasavage, Thank you so much for your trust and working with us for that long... it HAS been a long time, huh? If there is anything you need, please let us know. You're just great! - Thanks... Greg
