Meet the Motor Works Staff
Tommy Ingalls
(Michael) Dave Henkin, Service Consultant B.A., ASE Service Consultant, Certified
A graduate of the University of Maryland with a degree in Business, Dave brings to Motor Works, Inc. 22 years of customer service and business skills. David is actually Michael's middle name and we've trained him to respond to "Dave" to avoid the obvious confusion with "the other Mike", Mike Winokur. Dave lives in Columbia, MD and spends his spare time with his son Brendan, his wife Misty and her daughter Taylor. Dave loves listening to music and it is rare to see him without some playing in the background. He is currently restoring a 1963 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 and occasionally you will find him at the race track on a temperate Friday night. As the client liaison and service advisor, Dave is your primary resource for help and information regarding the care you receive.
Mike Winokur, Operations Manager, C.M.A.T., M.B.A.
Mike Winokur, a graduate of the University of Maryland and Hood College, brings to Motor Works, Inc. ten years of engineering and business experience along with a passion for motorized vehicles. In his spare time Mike restores old cars and spends as much time as possible outdoors either racing dirt bikes, and playing golf. Mike has recently taken a fancy to the martial art of Tae-Kwon Do. Mike lives in Ijamsville, Maryland with his wife Kim, daughters Samantha and Alexandra.

Chris Soares, Technician Apprentice, C.A.T.
Chris, officially joined the MWI team in 2005 after working for several summers during school break. He has an enchanting smile and a thirst for knowledge that seems insatiable. His favorite subject is...Turbochargers...anything to do with them and he's right there. Chris is working as an apprentice to learn the trade and is well liked by team members and clients alike. Chris recently attained his first two certifications by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence. - Great job, Chris!

Todd Lewis Todd Lewis, Technician, C.M.A.T.
Todd, his wife, Gloria and their daughter, Katherine, live in Mt Airy, Maryland. Todd has been a Honda Technician since 1984 and has been certified by Honda Motor Company and ASE. Todd's ability and humor help to make the work atmosphere fun! Todd recently celebrated his 8 year anniversary here at Motor Works. "Old-Timer"
Scott Talbott, P.T. Shop Assistant
Scott came to Motor Works in June of 2006. A graduate of Wheaton High School, Scott brings a willingness to help and a great smile with him everyday. Whether he is cleaning, running errands or driving you to your office, Scott always has a courteous and happy energy around him. An Eagle Scout with Boy Scout Troop 1083, he has known Greg since he was a "little guy". Scott loves to tinker with his Ford pickup truck and simply hang out with his many friends. Scott will begin attendance at Montgomery College to continue his education.
Bernie Studds, Shop Assistant
Bernie came to Motor Works in June of 2006. A graduate of Damascus High School, Bernie is a volunteer firefighter with the Urbana Volunteer Fire Department. Bernie hopes to attend Montgomery College in the fall with a focus on Fire Sciences. Bernie also likes to kick back and relax with friends, fishing, hunting and just plain "hanging out". He also enjoys off-road trucking in his "heavily experienced" pickup truck. Bernie resides in Damascus, Maryland with his family as well as Nikki and Tucker, his two canine friends. Bernie has a great attitude and we are certain you will enjoy meeting him. He sometimes will be your chauffeur as he drives you to and from the Metro or your local office.
Keith Koval Keith Koval, Technician, C.M.A.T., L1, M.E.M., M.C.E.R.T.
Keith Koval has spent 31 years working his way to the top of his profession, 14 of which at a local Silver Spring, Maryland Honda dealership, where he achieved the status of "Senior Master Technician" and "Shop Foreman". Keith is well respected by his peers as evidenced by his nickname, "Doc". He brings to Motor Works, a wealth of knowledge, experience and technical expertise. "Doc" holds the title of Certified Master Automobile Technician, L1 Advanced Engine Performance, Master Engine Machinist, and qualified for accreditation from Honda Motor Company at the Gold level of training completion during his time under the Honda banner. Keith is also a Maryland State Master Emissions Repair Technician. Keith lives in Monrovia, Maryland. Keith has two children, Jesse, and Cheyanne. Keith also works with Golden Retriever rescue to find good homes for some great dogs. Keith's other hobbies include motorcycle touring and off-road trail riding, gardening, woodworking and fishing.
Greg Skolnik

Greg Skolnik, C.M.A.T., L1, A.A.M. Owner, Manager and Master Technician
Greg Skolnik, Owner, Manager, and Master Technician, guiding the shop from its inception to the well-established and highly regarded service facility it is today. A 1974 graduate of Lincoln Technical Institute with a degree in Automotive Technology, Greg's 30+ years of experience are invaluable in the expert diagnosis and repairs performed at Motor Works, Inc. He is certified as a Master Automobile Technician and holds the prestigious L-1 advanced engine performance and emission analysis certification. In November of 2004, Greg also received the coveted Accredited Automotive Management (A.A.M.) degree from the Automotive Management Institute. Greg has helped impart his vast technical knowledge by instructing automotive technology courses at the Takoma Park campus of Montgomery College. He also occasionally provides technical consultation for the staff of the Montgomery County Office of Consumer Affairs, Automotive Division.

Greg and his wife, Carol, have two sons, Chris and Aaron, and are enjoying the "empty nest" with its peace and quiet. Aaron, along with Kristen, his wife, gave proud grandparents, Greg and Carol, a beautiful granddaughter, Kayleigh, in September of 1999 and Nathan, a grandson in August of 2003. Their older son, Chris, has met the lady of his dreams and married Mary in December of 2004.

Greg has been an active leader with Boy Scout Troop 1083 in Rockville, Maryland for over 17 years and finally figured out how to tie all those knots! Greg also enjoys touring America on his Honda Gold Wing motorcycle and beating out that rhythm on his drums.
